UPFUL RISING!!!
Previously, we explored the meaning of Wellness. Today, we begin to explore the meaning of REGGAE WELLNESS. Reggae Wellness is a movement that once activated, has the potential to NEVER END. How can REGGAE WELLNESS be activated? One person at a time, one family at a time, one neighborhood at a time, one community at a time, one nation at a a time, then the entire planet can achieve REGGAE WELLNESS.

3. Financial Freedom
This is probably the most difficult for us to achieve as a Nation of Blackness, a Nation of Human Beings, One Nation of Indigenous Peoples, because these skills and practices were ripped from our bloodline during the period of enslavement. When families were torn apart, all the wealth and wisdom that had been passed down for generations was taken away from us. Our knowledge, our wealth, our abundance, our relationship with Nature, our culture, our oral traditions, our values, our ways of living, OUR WAYS OF BEING, were all taken away. Our spirits and souls were trapped inside of an oppressive society, where even today, IT IS DANGEROUS TO BE BLACK. Our very Blackness is a desired commodity: the thieves want our Blackness, yet they want US dead.
THERE IS A GIFT IN EVERY ADVERSITY, even if we do not see it right away, it is there, and IT IS FILLED WITH ABUNDANCE, WAITING FOR US TO CLAIM IT.
Everything happens for a reason, and now it is our time to take back what was wrongfully taken. Including the GOLD they stole: wealth and wisdom, our culture.
OUR FREEDOM TO BE WHO AND WHAT WE ARE.

WE WOULD HAVE TO LET GO OF THE SLAVE MENTALITY. WE WOULD HAVE TO LET GO OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS FORCED UPON US, OR TAUGHT TO US BY THE OPPRESSORS. Every habit, tendency, impulse, or desire that does not lead our nation back to freedom, must be abandoned. ESPECIALLY OUR PURCHASES AND BUYING DECISIONS. Many people are not ready to do this unfortunately, but this is what it will take to achieve Reggae Wellness.
In fact, we would have to return to the ORIGINAL concept of CURRENCY: the currency is running through OUR veins right now! Our blood, our life force energy, this is our TRUE WEALTH! Our RICH heritage and legacy! THAT is the real power. In fact, WALL STREET in USA? That was where the slaves were being sold after they landed on stolen land. The white people did not like seeing this, so they built a wall around the STOCK YARD!!! WE WERE THE STOCK!!! WE were being kept in STOCKADES. THE ORIGINAL STOCK MARKET!!! They even had money printed with our images for slave trade!!! Making it look like
“we wuz happy to be slaves, picking cotton and harvesting sugar cane….yes, massa”

We were considered to be more valuable than owning land!!! A man that owned 500 acres of land and 2 slaves was considered to be less rich than a man with 25 slaves and 2 acres. Think about it, nothing in colonial Americas or colonial anyplace would have happened if our ancestors had not been there to build it!
So you can see, the first step towards financial freedom is not about getting alot of cash, or even making great investments. IT IS ABOUT CHANGING THE MINDSET! Raising the Frequency, the Vibration. Once we have the right mindset, Financial Freedom, that is our HUMAN birthright, will flow to us naturally, effortlessly. Gracefully. With Ease.
